The German Club, Manila was formed in January 1906 by German members of its predecessor group, the "Casino Union", a loose association of German-speaking expatriates dating back to 1880. As such the German Club is the oldest among predominantly foreign, social groupings in the Philippines; The German Club takes pride in its tradition of excellent dining and impeccable service.
In 1979, after occupying various locations around the Old Manila, the Club purchased its own site at the prestigious penthouse of Eurovilla II building at Legaspi Village, right in the heart of Makati. The premises have been renovated and well maintained, combining an understated elegance and efficiency.
