German Club Manila: August 2021 Newsletter

Manila, 5th of August 2021

Dear Members,

We’ve had a a lot of rain in the recent days. I hope you and your family are safe in your homes.

July has been an good month for the Club as we’ve welcomed more and more members and guests visiting the restaurant. Many of our members also continue to use our take-out and delivery services. The EURO 2020 is finished, and we’d like to say thanks to those who joined us for the replays in the Veranda.

After sending out our Blood Type Databank announcement, we are glad to say we have received several responses from members and families. This will be helpful particularly in emergency cases in the future. For those who still wish to include their information on our database, please email it to clubmanager@germanclub.ph or membershipdirector@germanclub.ph.

The month of August has become difficult again for the Club as Metro Manila is switching back to ECQ. We urge our members once again to support our take-out and delivery services this month. Your participation means a lot in keeping our community alive!

On a lighter note, we have a new and affordable art collection on our walls brought to us by Magkaisa Creative! Please contact the restaurant to request a schedule for viewing, and pricelist.

We also have recently launched our new website and gave it a brand new look! We hope that you have already visited our official page (www.germanclub.ph).

The Club’s new Dessert and Ice Cream Menu was just released – featuring Carmen’s Best Ice Cream! We do hope you get to try them once the restaurant is open again for dine-in! Some of them are still available for take-out and delivery.

The Introduction Night scheduled on July 27, was postponed until further notice, due the recent change in guidelines for restaurants and dine-in services. We are hoping that we can hold the event later this August. We ask our members to wait for further updates.

Let us all hope restrictions will ease-up soon, and as always, we thank you for your continued support to the Club!
